MOLECULAR AND GENOMICS APPLICATIONS IN THE FOLLOWING RESEARCH AREAS:
NUTRITION, DISEASE DIAGNOSTICS, GENETIC IMPROVEMENT, GENETIC DIVERSITY, PHYSIOLOGY, FOOD QUALITY & SAFETY, BIOETHICS & POLICY WATER & SOIL QUALITY, BIOMEDICINE

 

Goals:

1.     Provide background on genomics and molecular biology principles.

2.     Examine current trends in applications of genomics and molecular biology in research.

3.     Discuss case studies of research design for genomics and molecular applications in various fields like animal and plant breeding and genetics, genetic diversity and conservation, food processing, security and safety, pathology and disease diagnostics, nutrition, physiology, water and soil quality and bioethics.
